I'm pretty sure everyone's familiar with the works above.
If you're not, they're made by Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol!
Anyway, today's blog post is about something I did last week when I was taking a break from reviewing for my midterms exam, lol.
I posted this on my Instagram account and got a few good feedback so I wanted to put it here as well.
Okay so this is my first attempt to do a pop art related makeup look.
I know it needs more work, but trust me, I'm working on it :)
So, here we go!
1. Conceal
1. Conceal
Conceal lips with Revlon HD foundation or any other concealer that works best
2. Set
Use any powder to set! Here I used Marks and Spencer in Cocoa Butter & Vanilla. I used this because it smells totally amazing and it's talc so it absorbs water quickly!
3. Matte Pink Lipstick
With lipstick brush, line lips and shade with matte pink lipstick. Here, I used the Kate Spade (Rimmel London) given to me by @kathiacee
4. Outline and add details!
Line outer and inner lips with maybelline cream eyeliner in black. Add details.
5. Highlight!
With a lipstick brush, use white or light pink eyeshadow to highlight and add more details. Here I used light pink from Victoria's Secret Supermodel-on-the-go makeup palette (sexy little flirt). White eyeliner would look better, I think.
Note:
This look took 10 minutes to do!
Oh, also, this was also inspired by Marina and the Diamond's
"Oh, No" music video. Click below to watch!
See how artists inspire each other? It's a beautiful thing. :)
I hope you try this for yourself and have fun with it!
