Last weekend was one of the busiest this school year. Saturday was for coming back to the open-party scene (UP Adhoc) and the next days were for my friends' creative shots for our yearbook.
Sunday, some of my friends and I took a trip to Nasugbu, Batangas to have a photoshoot for their creative shot. We went to Marlou Beach Resort and we were well taken cared of by the owners. Although the beach was so dirty because of the storm the past week and we were so late, we still had loads of fun with this shoot!
Monday, the photoshoot was at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife. A lot of shoots were going on that day and I guess that's pretty normal since we paid practically nothing for the entrance fee. Also, the place was huge! There are lots of places where you can set up and there was even a man-made lagoon.
I did, probably, the most embarrassing thing for a photographer to do which was borrow a camera. At first, I only needed a battery (don't get me wrong, I charged my battery before I left but I guess it didn't charge properly) but the guys we talked to had incompatible batteries. We then proceeded to look for other kind souls but we failed to do so. We went back to them and asked to borrow the camera of the guy who wasn't really doing anything instead (he had a Canon EOS 60D). He was too kind to let me borrow it even just for a few minutes. Shout out to that guy because we didn't know him at all.
I'd also like to give a shoutout to my dear friend RJ from catchlight.ph for lending me his huge ass lens which up to this day is still resting on my vanity. Hit 'em up!
I've never been more stressed but happy at the same time and if I had the chance to do this all the time, I would. :)
